Meet the Founder

Hey hey hey!

 

I’m Carlos Barillas. I was brewed in San Vicente, ES, later fermented in Somerville, MA, and finally conditioned in Billerica, MA. LOL!  When I was young, I found myself captivated by technology, puzzles, and mechanics. Whether it was putting the latest computers to the test at CircuitCity or disassembling and nearly reassembling toys and bicycles, it was all training. Fast forward to today, I work at a small university in Cambridge, where I provide technology support to staff, faculty, and students. Outside of work, my time is occupied by my three girls. Together, we take adventures to museum visits, alpaca hikes, and trips to Mickey and Minnie—all while pursuing my undergraduate degree at Harvard. When we start winding down we enjoy listening to music on long drives, a quick bike ride through Fenway, pitching a tent in the Whites, or even clearing the weeds off the garden 🌱

For the future, my primary vision for TBF is to donate a total of three hundred thousand dollars within five years. Let’s do it together!
