Barillas Foundation (BF): "Project v.1.25" Scholarship is open!
BF: "Project v.1.25" Scholarship is dedicated to supporting students pursuing careers in medical imaging. This scholarship aims to recognize and empower future technologist in the field of medical imaging who demonstrate academic excellence and a commitment to advancing healthcare through innovative imaging technologies.
Eligibility Criteria:

Applicant is accepted to a program/degree in medical imaging in an accredited college or university.

Applicant must be a resident of the Middlesex County, MA.

Applicant must be 18 to 30 years old.

Applicant must submit a personal statement detailing the significance of a recent photograph they've captured.
Scholarship Award:

The scholarship award amount is $1098.00
Application Process:

Interested applicants must complete the online application form.

Applicants must submit all required documents, including:
-
Official acceptance letter to a program/degree in medical imaging in an accredited college or university.

One-page personal statement exploring the meaning and impact of a recent photograph they’ve taken (double space, Times New Roman, 12 font size, 500 to 600 words).

Applications must be submitted by the specified deadline to be considered for the scholarship.
Deadline:

The deadline for submitting applications for TBF: "Project v.1.25" Scholarship is December 24, 2025 by 11:11 PM.
Selection Process:

With help from a board member, the scholarship recipient will be selected based on the context of their personal statement.

Close and distant family members of the Barillas Foundation do not qualify for the scholarship.

Barillas Foundation board members, officers, selection-committee members, and their relatives do not qualify for the scholarship.
Notification and Disbursement:

Scholarship recipient will be notified via email or phone by December 31, 2025 at 11:11 AM.

Scholarship funds will be disbursed directly to the recipient's educational institution to cover tuition, fees, or other educational expenses related to their program in medical imaging.
